Sea Snaps was established in 1987 by Maria Steernberg, a lifetime mariner on the West Coast of British Columbia. Maria has a passion for photography and a love of the marine environment. Her choice of camera is a medium format Pentax.

Throughout the year the Sea Snaps Vessel can be found cruising coastal waters, capturing those Kodak moments. When she is not cruising, her home port is the beautiful Coal Harbour Marina situated in the heart of Vancouver.
